The Brahmana activist
A Brahmana Sammelana just got over in B'lore. These conferences have now become nothing more than a political show of strength by the leaders. While fighting for the rights of the community cannot be condemned, what one should expect from the Brahmana samaja is an intellectual brainstroming session.
If the Brahmana samaja wants to showcase that itz different from other communities, it should brainstorm what it can do to stop the rotting of the society. As one of my uncle's questioned, shudnt the Brahmana community be held responsible for the current downslide in the moral values of the soceity? If Warren Anderson can be held responsible for the Bhopal gas tragedy, if Bazee CEO can be arrested for the selling of a sex video in the website, by extending the same logic, shudnt the intellectuals in the soceity take responsibilities for the society's degradation? And if the Brahmana community insists on calling it the torch-bearer of the society, shud the Brahmins be held responsible???
